Synopsis

Jack Boniface can't sleep, not since he was attacked and left for dead by a strange and lethal woman. When the moon rises and the world rests, something inside him awakens and the Shadowman is born again! But what is the source of this power –?and will it be enough to survive the killer called Samedi that stalks the New Orleans back alleys?Puzzled by his recent nocturnal urges to seek and destroy evil, Jack is told by his housekeeper, Nettie, that he is inhabited by a powerful voodoo "Loa" that compels his behavior. Presenting him with a costume to wear as Shadowman, Nettie tells Jack that he must face the serial killer, "Samedi", out in the swamps! What follows is a savage battle, with the unarmed Shadowman defeating the axe-welding maniac!Original color art (see pic below).
